Hello, I’m Carrie. I’m a mother, wife, artist and baby whisperer. I tend to approach everything in life with a sense of humor and my art, as a photographer, is no different.
I often hear from clients that they put off having portraits done because it can be overwhelming. Sound familiar? When you hire me, you can rest assured that all you have to do is show up. I take a much more relaxed approach to photography. Your session will be stress free and completely unique from set design, location, color/prop choices to posing.
Being a working wife and mom, I understand hectic lifestyles and just how quickly time slips by. Don’t hold off on capturing these precious memories. I want to create portrait art that you adore! And my hope is that each time you look back on these images you will fall in love all over again.

My Studio
Welcome to my creative place!
I’ve been in my residential studio for several months now and it is, without a doubt, my favorite place to be, second only to my kitchen with my family gathered around. My studio is ideally located close to downtown Bethesda. Clients find it extremely convenient to access from anywhere in the Metro DC area via car or rail.
I wanted to create a serene and inviting space that was perfect for meeting with clients, editing in my office, and of course, photographing the bellies and darling babies that come and visit me. It is here we can share a cup of coffee as we style your session, cuddle with your new baby on my antique chairs, and view your beautiful proofs to select your favorites.
I provide everything my clients need from vintage hats, rompers and maternity gowns, delicate yet cozy wraps and an extensive selection of carefully curated props. All of which help to create the images of your dreams.
